Galope... |
These are not Paso Finos but have
similar phenotypes. The Paso Finos have a lateral
gait, whereas the Trocha-Galope have a diagonal
gate. Another difference is the heights and
angularities of shoulders, pelvis, scapular, and
femur to ground ratio. The Trocha is slightly
larger than the Paso Fino. The Trocha-Galope have
a four-beat diagonal gait as fast as the Paso
Fino gait, but also have a slow, collected
three-beat gallop. As with the better known Paso
Fino, the ride is very smooth and collected.
