Buttermilk Farms... |
Located in scenic Delaware County,
New York, Buttermilk Farms specializes in
training and breeding quality Paso Fino horses. A
local landmark, Buttermilk Falls, provides scenic
beauty on the property and gives the farm its
name. Established in 1995, the grounds include
600 acres of trails, complete training facilities
with resident trainers from Colombia, and an
indoor arena and stable for 20 horses. |

Driving Directions
From the South
- Take 87 North to Exit 19, which is Rt. 28.
- Go through the toll booths and make a right
onto route 28. Route 28 will take you to Oneonta
and into Rt. 23 east (concurrently with Rt. 28
for a few blocks)
- From the town of Oneonta, go about 22 miles.
- There is a sign on the right that reads Butts
Corners. Butts Corner will be on the left. Take a
left onto Butts Corners which is County Route 9.
- About 2 miles of driving on County Route 9,
there will be a sign to the left that says
Buttermilk Farms.
- Go up the road and take the first driveway on
the left. This will take you to the barn.

From the Northwest
- Take I-90 to Herkimer (Exit 30).
- Take NY State #28 South to I-88 west
(entrance17)
- Go west to exit 16.
- Get off on exit 16 and make a left. This will
take you to Pindars Corner (this is a traffic
light.) Make a left on Pindars Corner and go
10-12 miles to Butts Corner. Butts Corner will be
on the left. Take a left onto Butts Corners which
is County Route 9.
- About 2 miles of driving on County Route 9,
there will be a sign to the left that says
Buttermilk Farms.
- Go up the road and take the first driveway on
the left. This will take you to the barn.

From the West
- Take I-88 East to exit 16 and make a right.
This will take you to Pindars Corners (this is a
traffic light.) Make a left on Pindars Corner and
go 10-12 miles to Butts Corner. Butts Corner will
be on the left. Take a left into Butts Corners
which is County Route 9.
- About 2 miles of driving on County Route 9,
there will be a sign to the left that says
Buttermilk Farms.
- Go up the road and take the first driveway on
the left. This will take you to the barn.

From Boston
- Take I-90 west. Go through Albany to the toll
booths and go through them. Get off on exit 25A.
- Take I-88 West to exit 16. Get off on exit 16
and make a left. This will take you to Pindars
